September means dahlias in their full glorious bloom. For this workshop, we’ve planned for you to experience our 500+ dahlia cutting garden in a whole new way … cutting from any of the dahlias you wish, to create your own farmer-florist masterpiece.

 

We’ll also have our most select specialty flowers and foliages waiting for you, from Val's own cutting garden (where she experiments with new varieties) and also from the grounds of Three Toads Farm's main location. Elizabeth Montgomery will show you how to create the farmer-florist style of arrangement that made us one of Martha Stewart’s top 10 farmer-florists in the country. Tables will be set up on the back patio, along with wine, snacks and perhaps one of the Toad’s signature cocktails. We’ll provide a beautiful urn for your arrangement; just bring your camera and favorite flower clippers (don't worry if you don't have great clippers you can borrow a pair from the toads!)
